Top ranked side in the Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) will feature in the opening game of Week 3 Games.
The side that doubles as defending champions is up against West Siders with the tie set to tip off at 14:30 GMT at the Eusbett Court.
West Siders rank bottom of the standings after two rounds following a 32-61 loss to LIR in the last round and featuring in the opening round of this season’s competition.
The team along with Sunyani Technical University (STU) failed to register in time for the ongoing campaign despite several extensions.
As a result, both missed the deadline and attracted a fine and forfeiture of Week One games as punishment for the offence.
UENR’s title defense ambitions are on track following two wins as many games and are heavily tipped to record a third straight win today.
STU takes on Suncity Braves, CUCG Saints play Desert Rabbits and LIR take on Barracks Scorpions in the final game.
