Takoradi Technical Intsitute students with Sprite Ball Trophy

St. John’s students turned out out massively for the tour.
Students and staff members of Ahanataman Senior High School have welcomed the Sprite Ball Trophy in exhilarating fashion.

The all female school based in Ghana’s Western Regional capital, Sekondi-Takoradi hosted the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage with aplomb.

Residents on the campus rushed out to meet members of the tour party lining the streets and cheering loudly as the coveted trophy was paraded.

Students then had the unique opportunity to take photos with the trophy that will be battled for by 10 schools in the girls division; 16 schools will compete in the boys division.

Ahantaman has qualified for the next edition of the Sprite Ball Championship slated for January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

The school beat out competition from rival Shama Senior High School at the regional games to clinch the region’s sole ticket to the games.

Fellow Sprite Ball representatives from the region St. John’s School and Takoradi Technical Institute hosted the tour team after touching base in Ahantaman.

The Tour is scheduled to end later this week with schools in Greater Accra set to host the Sprite Ball entourage.
