Moroccan side AS Sale has qualified to the quarter finals of the ongoing FIBA Africa Champions Cup following a flawless campaign thus far in the tournament.

Sale beat Angola’s InterClube 81-78 to book a spot in the knockout stage after recording four wins in four games in Group A.

The competition ends on December 20 in Tunisia but Sale has impressed in the competition to rank as one of the favorites for the title.

Soufiane Kourdou paced the team with 20 points while Power Forward Abderrahim Najah produced 17 points.

Sale has two more games to play at the preliminary stage and is expected to rest key performers.

On the other hand, Interclube will need to win as many games as possible to make it out of the group with host Rades in the picture.

Etoile Sportive Rades beat Nigerian side Kano pillars 97-75 in its fourth game after a loss in the previous game.

A balanced effort from the Tunisian side outlasted Pillars Abdul Yahaya’s game leading 20 point mark.
