The Sprite Ball Trophy Tour’s epic journey through Ghana has had the entourage visit several schools in the West African country ahead of the anticipated national event.

Following an extensive tour through several regions of the land including Eastern, western, Central and Volta Regions, the travelling party touched base in the Greater Accra Region.

Accra Wesley Girls High School and West Africa Senior High School have qualified to represent the region in the girls division and were visited.

2016 silver medalist Accra Wesley Girls had several members of its team interact with the Tour contingent and get up close to the trophy after missing out to Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High at last year’s competition.

Despite its male side failing to qualify to next year’s Sprite Ball Championship, the female side clinched the remaining spot by featuring in the top two places at the regional level.

Team Coach Samuel Anaman has stated his has the potential to play in the final game prior to the visit and reiterated his stance.

The Sprite Ball Championship takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
