Takoradi Technical Institute (TTI) is poised to make glorious strides at the Sprite Ball Championship next year according to Principal Jonathan Tawiah.

He made the statement in an interview with Basketballghana.com during the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour and Clinic in Ghana’s Western Region.

The veteran administrator is adamant his team will perform well at next year’s competition after missing out for a lengthy spell.

“We are second to none and once we have come back, Takoradi Technical Institute is poised to bring glory to the region” he said.

TTI qualified alongside St. John’s School to represent the region at the national games in the boys division with Ahantaman Girls Senior High School representing in the female division.

It has been over four years since the school last featured at the Sprite Ball Championship; TTI is yet to progress beyond the preliminary stage at the competition.

Next year’s Sprite Ball takes place from January 4-6, 2018 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra; 16 schools will play in the boys division and 10 will play in the girls division.
