Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon) has secured the highest votes in a special poll to determine which team rounds up the roster for the upcoming Sprite Ball Championship.

The school won the polls with 60, 642 votes ahead of closest rival St. Peter’s Senior High School who polled 52, 712 votes to finish second in the race.

The system was instituted to fill the remaining spot in the division; only schools that failed to clinch automatic spots at the Championship were eligible.

Teams missed out on securing top spots at the various regional competitions played earlier this year and were granted a life line to feature at next year’s anticipated tournament.

By topping the polls PRESEC-Legon becomes the 16th male team for the 2018 Sprite Ball and will be featured in the draw which takes place today.

The draw will be telecast live on Kwese Free Sports from 16:00-18:00 GMT.

PRESEC-Legon fell behind PRESEC-Osu, St. Thomas Aquinas Senior High School and Sacred Heart Senior High School at the Greater Accra Regional qualifiers.
