Champagne Chalons Reims has won a second straight game in the French League Pro A thanks to an 83-72 win over Gravelines at home.

Ghana Forward Ben Bentil was the main catalyst as he led the Northern French side with 16 points, five rebounds and a steal in 29 minutes.

Bentil’s impressive play in recent games has been key to Reims two game winning run in as many games following a bad run where the side lost six games.

Gravelines Terry Allen paced the game’s scoring chart by registering 22 points but his efforts were not enough as he lacked support from his side.

Reims on the other hand, channeled a balanced game to clinch its seventh win in 15 games this season; Iceland international Martin Hermannsson scored 14 points in the game.

Bentil’s side has a balance its record for the season when action commences after a lengthy break; Reims take on Le Mans away from home on January 13, 2018.

The team ranks 13th in the 18 team standings.
