The semifinals of the 2018 Sprite Ball Championship female division will have a strong field of teams competing for places in the final game.

Accra Wesley Girls High School and Ahantaman Girls Senior High School have made it out of Group A with Ahantaman placing second in the group.

Kumasi Girls High School placed first in Group B ahead of Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School; Kumasi Girls progressed to the semifinals with four wins in four games.

As such, Aggrey Memorial will play against Accra Wesley Girls High while Kumasi Girls take on Ahantaman Girls to complete games at the stage.

Accra Wesley Girls tie is a rematch of the January 2016 final game where the side played and lost to Aggrey Memorial.

Beating Accra Wesley Girls enabled Aggrey clinch its second national title; after getting over Wesley Girls following at the last edition, Accra Wesley will be hoping for a repeat.

Silver medalist at the last edition, Kumasi Girls aim for a repeat appearance in the finals when the team plays Ahantaman Girls.

Games will take place at the El Wak Stadium in Accra on Saturday January 6.
