Kumasi Girls (white) topped Ahantaman
Accra Wesley (yellow and blue) dominated Aggrey

For the second straight edition, Kumasi Girls High School will feature in the final game of the Sprite Ball Championship after clinching a big win over Ahantaman Girls Senior High School.

Kumasi Girls beat the Western Regional representative 18-10 in the final semifinal matchup of the competition extending the team’s winning run.

The team is yet to lose a game in this year’s edition after winning all four games in Group B in the preliminary stage.

The team will face Accra Wesley Girls High School in the final game after the latter beat Aggrey Memroial Zion Senior High School in the opening semifinal game.

Accra Wesley Girls beat Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School 19-8 to make a return to the finals after placing second in 2016.

The nine point win over the two time national champion caps off an impressive run from the side that failed to make it out of the group stage at the last edition in December 2016.
