Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate reigning Sprite Ball Male Division Champions Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) are in line to meet Accra Metropolitan Assembly Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Adjei Sowah.
The school emerged winners in the male division of the prestigious tournament for the first time in its history after beating Mfantsipim School 25-22 in the final game.
The impending visit comes after the team’s visit to Accra Metropolitan’s Education Office in the aftermath of the shock win over the record winners of the tournament.
Osu PRESEC paid a courtesy call on Director Margaret Frempong Kore with members and staff of the winning team including Coach Eric Ankamah.
Headmistress of the school, Barbara Norteye led the delegation and is expected to take up the same role when the team meets the Metropolitan Chief in the coming days.
Further visits to Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle Constituency, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, Ga Mantse Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and corporate bodies have been planned.
PRESEC won all games in the competition including a 45-14 win over Mfantsipim in the opening game.
