Emmanuel Agyapong was phenomenal in OWASS’ win in 2016.
Opoku Ware won the boys division at the December Sprite Ball Championship.

Opoku Ware School Shooting Guard Emmanuel “Ghost” Agyapong has been named among the top 40 players selected to the upcoming basketball reality show “B-Ball Challenge”.

The show-a first for the sport in Ghana- is set to be staged in the latter part of this year with players picked from the just ended Sprite Ball Championship.

Despite having a disappointing performance with Opoku Ware, Agyapong’s showed enough to convince selectors he deserves to be on the list.

He headlines a group of four players picked from the December 2016, Sprite Ball Champions who exited from the group stage of this year’s competition.

Agyapong alongside Kwame Omono Asamoah, Melchizedek Yorke and Joseph Quartey made the list ahead of an exhibition which will trim the 40 man roster.

Members of the reigning champions Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) dominate the list as all members of the team’s starting unit were included in the list.

In his final year at the Sprite Ball Championship, Agyapong fell short of the high standards he produced in his previous appearances.
