Ivory Coast’s National Male Basketball Team, the Elephants, are preparing for the 2019 FIBA World Cup qualifiers next month.

Ahead of qualifiers in February, the national team handlers have released a 17 man preliminary roster for the qualifiers which takes place in Maputo, Mozambique.

Ivory Coast is in Group D alongside Host Mozambique, Senegal and Central African Republic with the top two progressing to the next stage of qualifiers.

The second round of qualifying games will be played later in the year to determined the pair to move closer to book a spot in the World event.

The 17 man roster will be reduced to 12 ahead of the qualifiers but JS Manazeh Center Romeo Wilfred Enan has not been included in the preliminary list.

Enan played for the team at the 2017 African Nations Championship (AfroBasket) in Tunisia; Ivory Coast exited the competition at the group stage.

Below is the full list of names which has three players from the Elephants side that placed fourth at the AfroBasket in 2013:
