Center Romeo Wilfred Enan has been left out of Ivory Coast’s National Male Basketball Team-the Elephants- ahead of World Cup qualifiers.

The Elephants will be in Maputo, Mozambique to play Group D qualifying games for the 2019 World Cup set to be held in China.

Ivory Coast will be in action against Senegal, Mozambique and Central African Republic in the first of two qualifying games for the World competition.

The next phase of qualifiers will be played later in the year to determine the top two teams in the group who advance to the final stage of qualifiers.

Enan played at the 2017 African Nations Championship (AfroBasket) in Tunisia after a splendid season with Nigerian sides Kwara Falcons and Kano Pillars.

Despite making a similar impact at his new club JS Manazeh in the Tunisian League, the 6 foot 10 inch player was not included in the 17 man roster.

The roster will prune to 12 ahead of the qualifiers next month. Below is a full list of players called up:

Charles Abouo Tiege Bamba Adjehi Baru Mike Benhamed
Souleyman Diabate Samuel Diomande Ahmed Doumbia Vafessa Fofana
Seydou Hima Desire Kone Moussa Kone Edi Guy Landry
Bryan Pamba Amadou Sidibe Fode Traore Willy Kouassi
Frejus Zerbo
