2018 Sprite Ball Championship female division silver medalist Accra Wesley Girls High School will be on “Courtside” later today.
This will be the team’s maiden appearance on the famous basketball program which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports.
The team is set to highlight major talking points in the recently held competition at the El Wak Stadium in Accra where the team placed second.
Falling to Kumasi Girls High School in overtime marked the second loss in the final game of the girls division for Accra Wesley.
The team lost the January 2016 final to Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School in its maiden appearance at the Sprite Ball Championship.
Members of the playing body including standouts Ruth Atibila and Maamata Yussif are expected on the renowned program tonight.
Accra Wesley Girls is the latest school to be interviewed in the aftermath of the Championship following Presbyterian Senior High School’s (Osu-PRESEC) appearance a few weeks back.
PRESEC won the boys division.
