The qualifiers take place from February 23-25 in Maputo, Mozambique and where teams in Group D attempt to make the second phase of qualification.
Host Mozambique and Ivory Coast have been paired in the group with Central African Republic and West African nation Senegal.
In an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com following the team’s announcement, Enan was nonchalant about the miss.
“About the national team, there is no Much to say, I mean different players can be called at any moment and that’s what happen now” he said
Enan played for Ivory Coast at last year’s African Nations Championship (AfroBasket) but his team missed out on progressing beyond the group stage.
He has maintained his impressive form despite moving from Nigerian club Kwara Falcons to Tunisian side JS Manazzeh in 2017.
He is a former Tertiary Player of the Year Award winner at the Ghana Basketball Awards and featured in the nation’s premier club competition, the Accra Basketball League.
