A massive parade was organized earlier today.
Kumasi Girls Senior High School Headmistress Margaret McDavis Asamoah has expressed her utmost delight following her school’s exploits at the 2018 Sprite Ball Championship.

The school’s basketball team won this year’s competition beating Accra Wesley Girls High School 30-29 in the final to clinch its maiden national title.

Speaking in an interview with Basketballghana.com, the experienced Educationist stated she and members of the school’s teaching staff were “overjoyed and “elated” with the win.

“This year, by the grace of the Lord they brought it. We were all overjoyed, we were so elated that it has come to the school” she said.

Kumasi Girls Head made this statement in the aftermath of a massive trophy arrival and presentation to the school body.

Members of the technical team including Coach Zibo Brown and Physical Education Head Joyce Agyei thanked authorities for their support.

Winning the coveted trophy climaxes a consistent by the school which was an unknown prospect in the Championship. The team placed fourth in its maiden appearance in January 2016 and second in the December 2016 edition.
