Action in the French Pro A Basketball League returned on Saturday evening as Round 18 in the 2017-2018 was honored across various arenas.

Ghana Forward Ben Bentil played in Champagne Chalons Reims 92-82 win over Antibes Sharks on the road for a much needed victory.

This is Reims first win in five games and ends the team’s four game losing run including losses to the likes of Bolazac.

Despite the win, Bentil’s performance was far from his best with the Sekondi born player registering six points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.

The 6 foot 9 inch Forward who can play Small Forward or Center came off the bench but couldn’t connect from deep as four three point attempts missed.

It was however a big night for Ulmer Lamont as he paced the game scoring 24 points with Reims lead scorer Martin Hermannsson adding 23 points.

By beating Antibes Sharks, Reims has moved up to 12th in the 18 team table with Antibes falling to 15th place.
