Amida in action against Santa Cruz Warriors.
After falling surprisingly to Memphis Hustle in the past week, Austin Spurs responded well in its next game against Texas Legends.

Spurs beat Legends 130-124 earlier today; the win maintains the team’s position atop the Western Conference standings.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah was at the heart of Spurs win as the former University of Connecticut Captain was at his shot swatting best.

He registered 15 points, eight rebounds, six blocks and one steal in 23 minutes off the bench; just like Austin, Brimah continues to maintain his grip on the league’s block crown.

Brimah leads the league with 2.8 blocks per game following his latest outing; he is averaging seven points and seven rebounds this season.

His closest challenger in the race for the blocks title is Raphael Putny who is averaging 2.2 blocks per game in second place.

Despite both teams featuring recently named players to the All Star team, Darrun Hilliard of Spurs and Johnathan Motley of Texas Legends were inactive but Jameel Warney played and scored 12 points.
