Prior to the big event’s tip off, competing teams have been put in groups to play out games in the preliminary stage.
Eight teams will participate in the three week competition which is due to end on March 11 when the final game will be played.
Two time league finalist Ashaiman Lions, Ghana Police, Teshie Rangers and Tema Community 2 are in Group A.
Group B has reigning league champions Tema Community 4, former league winner Nungua Coldstore, Tema Heat and Akatsi Rifles.
Coldstore won the maiden league campaign in Tema in 2016 but got stopped by Ashaiman Lions in its title defense last season.
The former and present league winners will clash tomorrow at 18:00 GMT in the first round of the tournament.
Winners of the respective groups progress to the final; the league is set to commence in late March.
