The second round of the 2017-2018 Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League season is just one round in but has one must watch game already.
Today’s fixtures which will be played at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani will be headlined by the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR)-LIR Royals tie.
UENR are defending champions and lead the league with 10 points one ahead of Royals who have lost a game in five outings this season compared to UENR’s flawless record.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 18:00 GMT and is the last of four games to be played today; the winner could well be on its way to clinch the title.
Ranked third in the standings, former Champions Suncity Braves will be in action against Barracks Scorpions who are ranked fifth.
Bottom ranked Catholic University College (CUCG) Saints take on fellow strugglers and tertiary side Sunyani Technical University.
West Siders play Desert Rabbits in a game that has fourth placed Rabbits take on seventh ranked West Siders.
