Bentil played majority of last season for For Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA’s G-League.

Following his surprising move from French Pro A side Champagne Chalons-Reims, versatile Ghana Forward Ben Bentil is yet to handed a jersey number at his new club.

The former Boston Celtics Draft pick moved to Spanish side RETABET Bilbao Basket a few days ago after playing 20 games for Reims; he averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds.

However, information reaching Basketballghana.com indicate the combo 6 foot 9 inch Forward is yet to be handed a jersey number.

Bentil wore 50 on his jersey during his stint with Boston Celtics and Reims but wore 42 when he played for Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NB Gatorade League.

Bilbao will be involved in league action on Sunday March 4 when its plays Gipuzkoa GBC; a team ranked 13th in the 18 team roster.

Bentil’s side is in the relegation fight as it sits 16th with just six wins in 20 games. This is Bentil’s fifth team since turning pro in 2016 after getting drafted out of Providence College.
