Top tier Spanish basketball side RETABET Bilbao Basket is happy to have landed Ghana Forward Ben Bentil following his exit from France.

23 year old Small Forward Bentil who doubles as a Power Forward, moved from Franch Pro A side Champagne Chalons-Reims days ago to the Iberian’s nation’s top club competition.

He recently completed his medicals and is set to feature for his new side in the league on Sunday March 4 after averaging 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds with Reims.

Prior to his first game, Bilbao management has stated its delight in signing the first Ghana-born player to play in the NBA.

“With Bentil we won in depth inside the game, he is a player who will bring offensive versatility with his ability to score both in painting and shooting from the outside” according to solobasket.

The Sekondi born player’s ability to stretch the floor with his three point shooting is a vaunted weapon in the modern game.

Bilbao will be counting on Bentil’s offensive numbers to steer clear of the 16th position it occupies.
