NBA Gatorade League side Austin Spurs will be in action later tonight at the HEB Center against Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

The matchup is a tough one since both teams feature in the top five spots in the Western Conference standings with Austin in second and Vipers in fourth place.

Spurs have a 25 win, 16 loss record while Valley Vipers have 24 wins and 17 losses this season and lost when the teams met last year.

Ghana Center Amida Brimah did not feature in Spurs 109-117 loss to Northern Arizona Suns in the previous round.

The top shot blocker in the league and his team is looking to bounce back after Austin lost its lead in the conference standings.

South Bay Lakers lead the conference after winning its tie while Spurs lost earlier in the week to Suns; Spurs play Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Sunday March 4.

Ghana’s first NBA player Ben Bentil spent time last season with Fort Wayne before recently moving to RETABET Bilbao Basket in Spain.
