The 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) tips off on Wednesday March 21 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu, Accra.
The opening game is yet to be determined as balloting for the upcoming season will take place today involving club representatives and league officials.
The midweek start date will be the first of many this season with games set to feature teams in the Male Division I and Female Division.
Basketballghana.com gathers midweek games will have one male division game and another from the female division.
Thursday games will have two exclusive games in the female division played with two games from the male division played on Friday.
Aside the Lebanon House Court, Prisons Court in Cantonments will be used as venues for this season which has Braves of Customs as defending champions in the male and female divisions.
Ghana Police, Prisons and Navy Warriors will play in Division I after gaining promotion from Division II last season.
