For a while Ghana Center Amida Brimah looked to be affected by reports linking him with a possible move to Cleveland Cavaliers from the NBA ‘s Gatorade League.

The 6 foot 11 inch player failed to score in double digits in three straight games and had his numbers in the blocks column dip considerably.

However, in a win over Iowa Wolves on Saturday morning, Brimah ended the skid by registering an 18 point, 18 rebound double for Austin Spurs.

He led the game in rebound and blocks (three) and tied for second in points behind teammate Derrick White’s 37 point outing.

The win is Spurs sixth straight and maintains the team’s spot at the Western Conference summit with regular season winding down.

Cavsnation.com reported the 2016 NBA Champions was in line to hand a 10 day contract to a Center as a temporary measure as the team battles injuries to Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jnr. and Tristan Thompson.

Brimah leads the Gatorade League in blocks.
