Brimah in action for Spurs

Austin Spurs regular season is winding down like other teams in the NBA Gatorade League and the former played its penultimate game against Oklahoma City Blue.

Spurs lost 94-98 dropping its second game in as many games as the team prepares for the postseason; Ghana’s Center Amida Brimah recorded a double double.

Brimah scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds with three coming on the offensive side; the Gatorade League blocks leader ended the game with one rejection.

The former University of Connecticut Captain played 33 minutes off the bench converting four six attempts from the field.

After clinching top spot in the Western Conference, Spurs lost to lowly ranked Memphis Hustle before falling to Oklahoma.

The team plays its final game later today against South Bay Lakers before the playoffs tip off on March27 with Spurs earning a bye in the first round.

Austin Point Guard Derrick White led all scorers in the game with 24 points and added seven rebounds and four assists.
