Royals- West Siders in a previous game.
Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints game against West Siders in Week 11 of the 2017-2018 Global Sporting Platform (GSP) Basketball League has been cancelled.

The game was set to be the opening fixture in the round which will have three other games played out at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani.

However, the game has been cancelled with Basketballghana.com reports indicating West Siders consistent run of no shows for fixtures as the major reason.

In the past four rounds, the team has not competed and has given away wins via forfeiture due to its absence on game days.

The team has tumbled to the basement of the league with nine losses and a sole win this season; West Siders have five points.

Saints are yet to win a game this season but are a place above West Siders in the eight team standings due to a point deduction meted out to West Siders.

Barrack Scorpions will take on Desert Rabbits in the opening game while LIR Royals play against Sunyani Technical University and league leaders UENR takes on Suncity Braves.
