Former high school basketball player turned NFL star Ezekiel “Ziggy” Ansah has declared big admiration for Cleveland Cavaliers Forward LeBron James.

He made the statement in an interview on basketball television program “Courtside” on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports this past weekend.

Ansah is in Ghana to work on his foundation and spend time with his family during the NFL’s long offseason.

Known as a big fan of Cavs Forward James, Ansah reaffirmed his admiration for the 15 year veteran player and tagged him a “good role model”.

“I do love basketball. I enjoy watching. I like LeBron (James)….he is a good role model for the kids” he said.

Currently a Defensive End for National Football League (NFL) outfit Detroit Lions, Ansah made the switch from the hardwood to the field after not making Brigham Young University’s Male Basketball Team.

Despite the setback, the 6 foot 5 inch former Presbyterian Boys Senior High School basketball player, excelled in American football to get drafted fifth overall in the 2013 Draft.
