Tudu Magic leads the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I despite losing its maiden game of the campaign at the hands of Braves of Customs in the past round.
Magic lost 38-71 to Braves but is still in first place in the nine team standings with seven points from winning three of four games.
In form side Adenta Leopards is tied on points with Magic in second place; Leopards have risen sharply in recent weeks following a run of wins including one against Tema Youth.
Defending league champions Braves are third after winning all three games played so far in the campaign; Customs have six points.
Bottom ranked teams, DC Dynamics and Ghana Fire Service, are winless following losses to Leopards and Navy Warriors respectively.
Following a controversial 83-80 win over Reformers of Prisons, Ghana Police is in fourth with the same point tally as Braves.
Police is yet to taste defeat in three games while fifth ranked Tema Youth lost its flawless run following the loss to Leopards.
