Tema Community 4 will be in action this weekend as the Tema Basketball League comes alive with a four game schedule.
The defending league champions take on Teshie Vikings in the aftermath of Community 4’s first loss of the 2018 season.
C4 lost 27-39 to Francophone Stars in the marquee matchup in the last round and are aiming for a bounce back win against Vikings.
The 2017 league winners looked in supreme form winning two games over Akatsi Riles and spanking Tema Rockets 50-20 but came unstuck against Francophone Stars.
Vikings are playing in their debut campaign in the league and have thus far won one of four games with the win coming against Teshie Rangers.
The debutant competed well but missed out on a second league win after falling 40-51 to 2016 Champions Nungua Coldstore.
Coldstore play Tema Rockets in the opening game on Sunday May 10 at Tema’s Chinese Court at 15:30 GMT. Tema Heat take on Francophone Stars and Akatsi Rifles play Ashaiman Lions.
