Ghana Police have made it two wins in two games against Reformers of Prisons in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL).

Police clinched a 67-52 win over Prisons in the latest round of games in the Women’s Division played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The win follows Police’s 83-80 win over Prisons in the Men’s Division I exactly a week ago; Police female side’s win over Prisons reaffirms the team’s hold on the head to head advantage so far this season.

The win gives Police Women’s Team its third win in three games in the division which takes them to second place in the standings.

Police is tied on six points with defending league champions Braves of Customs and Prisons but its goal difference of 94 puts the team ahead of Braves goal difference of 85.

In the final game of the round, Ghana Fire Service clinched a 45-38 win over Tudu Galaxy to move to first place in the standings with seven points. Fire has two wins in five games this season while Galaxy falls to just a win in four.
