C4’s Court after repainting
The Tema Community 4 Court popularly known as the Chinese Court, has a brand new look after the playing surface was repainted recently.

The cost of repainting was taken care of by Nungua Warehouse Company Limited who bankrolls Nungua Coldstore Basketball Club.

Coldstore has been competing in the Tema Basketball League since its inception in 2016 and emerged winners of the maiden edition.

The organization funded the project as a means to improve the league’s standards and attract sponsorship per the statement of Chief Operating Officer Wendell Otoo.

Community 4’s Court has been used as the league’s venue since 2016 and needed a face lift after several years of use.

The move falls in line with the footsteps of former Parliamentary aspirant for Tema West Ebi Bright, who oversaw the overhaul of the venue’s outdated lighting system and the surface’s first paint job in 2016.

The new look court will host four games in this season’s seventh week on Sunday May 20.
