Ghana Fire Service will make its debut in the second round of the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division later this weekend.

The team has been absent in two rounds of games played since the season restarted following a fortnight break in June.

Fire is scheduled to play Tudu Galaxy at the Lebanon House Court on Thursday July 12 with the latter in last place in the division standings.

Despite playing the least number of games this season (5), Fire holds a higher position than Galaxy whose seven point tally ties with Fire.

However, Fire has won two games in five appearances this season which is better than Galaxy’s record of a win in six games.

The game tips off at 18:00 GMT and is the first game to be played in the division this week with Reformers of Prisons and Ghana Police Service playing on Saturday July 14.

Police leads the division with 14 points from winning all seven games played and its winning streak will be put to the test.
