Tema Youth players receiving instructions from Coach Quaye
Ghana Police and Tema Youth have clinched respective wins in the final round of Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I games this week.

No games will be played today following an announcement by league management due to Reformers of Prisons reported withdrawal from the 2018 campaign.

Police clinched a 71-61 win over Tudu Magic in the first game before Tema recorded another close win on the day via a 79-71 win over Navy Warriors.

The winning sides headed to the games ranked third and fourth respectively but Tema has played 12 games which a game short of Police’s 13 for the season.

Beating Magic takes Police’s win shares this season to eight in 13 games and Tema also recorded its eighth win by getting past Warriors.

The league will soon break to allow players participate in next month’s National Unity Games; the annual multi discipline competition commences on August 12.

Cape-Coast’s Robert Mensah Stadium will host this year’s competition a year after Kumasi played host.
