Emmanuel Ekow Amoako has been appointed as Ambassador for the SWIFT Hoops 3×3 Basketball Tournament Basketballghana.com can confirm.

The young but experienced Point Guard headlines the upcoming Dalex Finance sponsored event which features teams representing Tertiary institutions in Ghana.

The highly anticipated event comes off on Friday August 24 at the Aviation Social Center in Ghana’s capital, Accra after a series of pre-competition games.

A run of games were honored at several locations around the West African nation in Cape-Coast, Accra and Kumasi during the Triangular Games played out in March this year.

The games have served as a buildup to the climax competition which will have the winning team walk away with 4,000 Ghana Cedis and the first runners up end up with a cash prize of 2000 Ghana Cedis according to Dalex Finance SWIFT Product Manager Beauty Olerkie Larbi.

Amoako popularly known as “Clock” is a former silver medal winner at the Sprite Ball Championship with Koforidua Senior High Technical School.

He is also a silver medal winner at the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
