The team placed fourth after 24 weeks of competition came to an end this past weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Stars recorded 10 wins and eight losses in 18 games in its maiden run in the league. The record was good enough to pip defending champions Community 4 to the fourth seed.
Francophone and C4 shared the same record and had to be separated by goals with Stars registering +6 goals and C4 recording -6 goals.
Stars announced itself to the league with a couple of impressive performances against first seed and 2016 champions Nungua Coldstore.
Francophone lost the first matchup 48-50 in overtime and proceeded to clinch a win in the second round ending Nungua’s unbeaten run.
Community 4 lost 29-37 to Francophone in one of the standout games of the regular season. Francophone and fellow debutant Teshie Vikings will feature in the playoffs.
Vikings clinched the seventh seed.
