Stars and Heat lost in Game One of the playoff semifinals to Tema Heat and Nungua Coldstore respectively at the same venue a week ago.
Nungua Coldstore beat Community 2 76-65 while Francophone Stars lost 51-53 to Heat after committing costly turnovers in the final minutes.
Stars have had a wonderful run in its debut season in the league beating all odds to make the playoffs and beyond the first round with a tough series win over Teshie Vikings.
Community 2 had the biggest result in the first round of the playoffs sweeping defending champions Tema Community 4.
Another loss tonight ends both teams run in this year’s league campaign. On the other hand, Coldstore has a big chance to make its second finals appearance and equal Ashaiman Lions record.
A win for Heat tonight qualifies the team to its first finals appearance.
