Adabraka CYO is yet to beaten in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season after six games with the latest victory coming earlier tonight.
The top ranked side secured a straight forward 90-53 win over Ada Knights in a game played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The game featured division leaders CYO against fourth ranked side Knights in the first of two games played at the venue to commence Week 6.
Despite Knights top four rank, CYO had little problems clinching the emphatic win as Knights struggled with its shots.
Shooting Guard Joy Ofori was heavily guarded throughout the game and the Ada Knights hurt its chances by turning the ball over later on in the game.
With 6 minutes remaining in the final quarter CYO led 70-44 and scored several fast break points in the final quarter to clinch the win with a 90-53 result. The team is on course to grab a place in the ABL Division I.
