Mfantsiman v Nkawkaw (white)
Accra Wesley Girls (yellow and blue kit) v St. Louis

Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School has effectively sealed its place in the semifinals of the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship taking place at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

The school scored a big 27-3 win over Mawuli Senior High School in the final round of group games in the Girls Division.

The win is the second for the Saltpond-based school on its return to Ghana’s biggest high school basketball competition after a two year absence.

Mfantsiman Captain Hikma Sanusi was once again at the heart of great offense and leadership showing why she is one of the best talents in the division.

In Group B, Accra Wesley Girls High School finally recorded a win in this year’s competition after two losses in the opening games.

The two time silver medalist scored a 20-8 win over Nkawkaw Senior High School to round up play in the preliminary stage of what has been a disappointing campaign.

Defending champions Kumasi Girls High School topped Group A after winning all three games.
