Ghana Forward Ben Bentil’s run in the 2018-2019 Greece A 1 Basketball League playoffs has ended after Peristeri GS was eliminated at the semifinal stage by Panathinaikos late on Monday.

Peristeri lost 75-82 in Game 3 of the best of five game series. Panathinaikos won the previous two games with bigger win margins.

Bentil led his team with 21 points and 11 rebounds while adding a steal and an assist in 26 minutes off the bench. He recorded one turnover.

Despite missing out on a place in the league final series, the 24 year old had an excellent run in his first postseason as a professional. Bentil turned pro in 2016 after getting drafted 51st overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by Boston Celtics.

Bentil averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds in six games in the playoffs against Ifestos and Panathinaikos.
