Action in the 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) season was halted briefly for teams and players to compete in the CAP7 Memorial Basketball Tournament.

Following the conclusion of the four day competition, league games are set to resume later tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

Adenta Leopards and Braves of Customs emerged winners in the Men’s and Women’s Divisions respectively in the CAP7 Tournament.

Three teams that competed in the recently ended competition are in line to feature today; Kawukudi Warriors, Adabraka CYO and Tudu Galaxy played in CAP7.

Galaxy placed fourth this past weekend but takes on Ghana Air Force in the ABL Women’s Division at 16:30 GMT today in Tudu.

CYO won the bronze medal in the Men’s Division thanks to a 45-43 win over Tema Youth and plays 2018 CAP7 silver medalist Warriors.

University of Ghana (UG) was expected to compete in the CAP7 Tournament but declined at the last turn; the team leads the ABL Men’s Division II standings and takes on Air Force in the first game at 15:00 GMT.
