The Tema Community 4 Basketball Court is getting a facelift per reports reaching Basketballghana.com ahead of the Highest Ball Tournament.
Famous Rapper Sarkodie who hails from Ghana’s Port City is headlining the one day tournament as part of activities to mark his decade run in the West African nation’s music industry.
Highest Ball comes off on Saturday, October 27 and is set to have a host of teams from Tema compete to mark Sarkodie’s landmark achievement.
The playing surface is getting repainted ahead of the competition and BET Award winner Sarkodie shared a video on his Instagram account on work done so far.
In the video a snippet showed a mural of Sarkodie painted on a wall close to the court popularly known in Ghanaian Basketball circles as Chinese Court.
Aside music, Tema is the stable of standout basketball players in Ghana and the Tema Community Basketball League is one of the best in the nation. Sports betting firm BetWay has partnered Sarkodie for the tournament.
