In two straight games in the 2019 Tema Community Basketball League regular season, Teshie Rangers have been absent but reports indicate the team will report for its matchup scheduled for tonight.
Rangers were due to compete against Akatsi Rifles a couple of weeks ago after sitting out another previous game; reasons behind their absence are yet to be officially confirmed by the team.
The team is due to compete at the Tema Community 4 Court later today against defending league champions Nungua Coldstore.
The clash pits the league’s bottom side-Rangers-against the division’s best team Coldstore; Nungua has lost just one of 17 games this season and recorded a 38-31 win over 2017 League Champions Tema C4.
Rangers roster has depleted since its league debut in 2017 with the likes of Gabriel Numarworse, Emmanuel Ocquaye and Kingsley Quist moving to other league teams.
In other games to be played tonight, C4 plays Teshie Vikings in the opening game at 15:30 GMT, Sakumono Titans play Tema Community 2 and Tema Wildcats take on Spintex Knights.
