Braves of Customs Female side got its 2019 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Finals Series off to a rough start after losing 45-48 to Ghana Police Service in Game One of the best of three game series.

The team lost at the Prisons Court in Cantonments on Wednesday, November 13 and later today at the same venue, Braves Male Team has the chance to give the Customs league contingent a win in the Finals.

Braves play Adenta Leopards in the first of a possible three game series tonight at 18:00 GMT in the Men’s Division I Finals.

The series determine the team that wins this season’s title; earlier this week, League Executive decided to name the Men’s title after former ABL Chairman Benjamin Baafi.

Leopards and Braves have played out exciting games over the past couple of seasons including the last Regular Season meet up that had Leopards lose 63-65.

Prior to the game, Reformers of Prisons play Ghana Fire Service at 16:00 GMT for third place in the Women’s Division.
