Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) will compete in next year’s Sprite Ball Championship after sealing qualification from the recently concluded Volta Regional qualifiers.

Despite suffering a 25-26 loss in the Boys Division Final to St. Paul’s Senior High School, KETABUSCO clinched one of two qualification spots to the 13the edition of Sprite Ball.

Sprite Ball is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball Tournament and the upcoming edition runs from January3-4, 2020 at the El Wak Stadium in the West Africa nation’s capital, Accra.

KETABUSCO competed in the 2019 edition earlier this year but failed to progress beyond the group stage; the school suffered a 14-59 loss to eventual winners Mfantsipim School.

In the absence of former winners Keta Senior High Technical School, KETABUSCO has stepped in as the consistent representative of the region.

12 schools will feature in the Boys Division at next year’s competition with the likes of former winners Opoku Ware School set to compete after securing qualification from the Ashanti Region.

Bueman Senior High School(BUSEC) will represent Volta Region in the Girls Division that has eight schools slated to compete.
