According to PianetaBasket, the former Olimpia Milano player and league winner is inching closer to Bologna; Virtus had the best record in the just ended season.

The 6 foot 6 inch player has attracted offers from foreign clubs including Russian side Khimki and German side Alba Berlin with Brescia interested in retaining his services.

Born to a Ghanaian father, Abass represented Italy at the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China; he had represented the European nation at age group tournaments before including the triumphant side at the 2013 European Under 20 competition.
