Ghana’s Ben Bentil is set to feature for Panathinaikos game tonight against Valencia in the EuroLeague Basketball Championship; the game tips off at 20:00 GMT in Spain.

The upcoming game is Panathinaikos seventh game in Europe’s top tier competition in the 2020-2021 season. The team however, has lost four games in six appearances thus far.

Due to the poor run of games against some of Europe’s best clubs, Panathinaikos ranks 15th on the 18 team standings while Valencia has four wins in seven games and ranks sixth on the table.

Small Forward Bentil has competed in five of his Greek side’s six games with all his appearances coming off the bench. He has averaged 2.8 points and 1.6 rebounds in 7:44 minutes per game.

This is Bentil’s second season competing in the EuroLeague and his second season at Panathinaikos after securing a move from fellow Greek side Peristeri BC.

The 6 foot 8 inch Forward is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA following his brief run with Dallas Mavericks.
