Basketballghana.com can confirm Tema Community 4 Basketball Club will compete this weekend in the “Game On” Basketball Tournament.
The One Day tournament is slated for Sunday, November 22 at the Chinese Court with three other teams due to compete for the title; Ground Up Music is collaborating with the Tema Basketball League (TBL) to stage the competition.
Community 4 is set to play against Sakumono Oldies, Sakumono Youngings and Tema Community 4 Youngings on Sunday for the title.
This weekend’s round of games is likely to be the first outing for Community 4’s player signings made during the elongated offseason.
Earlier this year, Community 4 and fellow TBL outfit Spintex Knights made a series of high profile player signings that generated a lot of buzz on the Ghanaian basketball scene.
However, the team hasn’t been in action officially since and that has prevented fans from seeing the new acquisitions in action; Sunday could be that moment.
C4 signed front court pair Mubarak Alhassan and Mustapha Ahmed and added Steven Foster to the list.
