Agbeko (with ball) in action

Basketballghana.com can report Ghana Forward Reggie Agbeko starred for his team in a recent win in the Spanish LEB Silver Basketball League.

The 6 foot 7 inch player registered 12 points, four rebounds and an assist in Ventero Villarobledo’s 62-61 win over L’Hospitalet in a Round 9 league meeting of the 2020-2021 season.

Agbeko started the game and played 26 minutes continuing his recent run of starting games after working his way up from a spot in the second unit following his move to join Ventero prior to this season.

He converted six of seven shots from two point range in the contest but missed his only free throw attempt and didn’t attempt a three point shop.

Agbeko played College basketball at St. Louis University in the US.

Agbeko and Senegal Forward Serigne Ndiaye led all Ventero players with 12 points with the pair the only players on the roster to score in double figures.

The win is Villarobledo’s third of the season after seven games; the team ranks eighth in the 14 team East standing; Agbeko’s former team Albacete is in fourth place.
