Amida dunks ball in an Intercontinetal Cup game

Basketballghana.com gathers Ghana Center Amida Brimah is likely to sign and play for Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the NBA Gatorade League (G- League).

This comes after Brimah was waived off the team in the final round of cuts to Indiana Pacers roster for the 2020-2021 NBA season. Brimah has two years experience in the G League after playing for Austin Spurs.

Fort Wayne is Indiana’s affiliate team in the G League and has featured fellow Ghanaian Ben Bentil on its roster before; Bentil played for Fort Wayne in the 2016-2017 season.

The 6 foot 10 inch player was signed to the team’s roster for the just ended preseason games but didn’t feature in any of Pacers three games.

Pacers completed roster transactions earlier this week to have 15 players for the season and a pair of players on two-way contracts.

This is Brimah’s second miss on making it to the Pacers NBA roster after failing to make it to the roster ahead of the 2019-2020 season. He subsequently tore his ACL.
